Connection to Harringay Warehouse District

Harringay Warehouse Bubbles nourrishes the clash of differences. It frees one neutral public space on the ground to let the inhabitants of the district occupy the place as they want. The essence of the community is embeded in the cloud like ceilling. There are as many color bubbles as there are personalities and expressions occupying the Harringay district. It symbolizes the common effort , little by little, bringing the warehouse to the state it is today. The warehouse bubbles is quirky, fun and is an easily buildable structure as the community is used to invest the Harringay Warehouse.

The warehouse bubbles is quirky, fun and is an easily buildable structure as the community is used to invest the Harringay Warehouse. The warehouse bubbles is a new kind of public space thanks to the Warehouse community. They create, they show, they organize an alternative way of occupying public space. The Warehouse bubbles offers the playful landscape to foster all the artistic expression taking its inspiration from the commuity’s philosophy.
The project is a suspended ballpit creating a dreamy landscape. It consists of a white mesh net attached to steel rebars rods to create a blurry screeen between the user and the context. It consists of 6 posts supporting a steel rebar grid on which is attached the suspended ballpit.
The pavillion is a freed up public space where the community is at the center of the design. They managed to give the whole district a distinctive look and feel as they will invest the pavillion; it is the essence of the pavillion.
