Connection to Harringay Warehouse District

From undergarment to general-use clothing, t-shirts have become a medium for self-expression against gentrification.
Wearing t-shirt represents a casual lifestyle and a hands-on attitude that characterise the Harringay Warehouse District.

Proposal Outline

Built of PVC pipes and white t-shirts, the proposed design offers a simple yet flexible solution.

The PVC arch modules can be constructed by layman and rearranged to suit different planning configurations.

The structure is anchored in weighted planter boxes, which can be DIY or purchased easily.

White t-shirts collected from neighbourhood will be secured by clamps or plastic straps on pipes. Alternatively, new t-shirts with designed prints can be used and resale afterwards.

For better water-proofing, water repellent spray can be applied on t-shirts.
