Connection to Harringay Warehouse District

We are not a resident in the Warehouse District, but live on the Ladder.

Proposal Outline

The pavilion tries hard to physically encapsulate the anti-gentrification philosophy of the warehouse district. It’s a make-do-and-mend approach that is so needed at the time. The basic structure would be made from scaffolding, with the roof and sides put together from what can found and upcycled from skips in the area, as well as the scrap yards dotted around. Timber and tarps would be ideal, but anything goes, provided it can be safely attached and provide shelter. Pallets would make up the rest of the build – seating areas, stage etc.
